Micron Biomedical Showcases Vaccine Tech at SXSW

March 20, 2025

Being invited to speak in Austin at SXSW, a conference known as one of the world’s largest platforms for thought-provoking ideas, could not have been more exciting — and the warm reaction from the SXSW community at the potential of delivering vaccines and therapeutics without needles, in the comfort of our homes was incredibly moving.

Thank you to the producers for the opportunity to share perspectives on how technology is shaping the world’s pandemic preparedness, and to everyone onsite and online who supported our stage talk featuring Micron’s Stephanie Adams, Ph.D. and Dr. Christine Johnson–Professor Of Epidemiology And Ecosystem Health And Director, Epicenter For Emerging Infectious Disease Intelligence at One Health Institute at UC Davis and one of only seven U.S. Science Envoys named in 2023.

Also, a huge thank you to former Director of BARDA DRIVe, Dr. Sandeep Patel, and stem cell science and longevity pioneer, Dr. Robert Signer, PhD for highlighting Micron Biomedical in your conversation about innovations shaping the home of the future. It was an honor to be a part of SXSW’s inaugural Ask Me Anything platform in the main expo.
